Bhimtal Lake is named after Bhima, the second Pandava brother from the Mahabharata, known for his strength. Located approximately 22 km from Nainital at an altitude of around 4,495 ft, Bhimtal is known for its larger lake area compared to Naini Lake. The lake features a small island and is surrounded by popular hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Key attractions include the historic Bhimeshwar temple complex and a 40 ft high dam at one end of the lake.

Delhi to Bhimtal | Arrival & Leisure
Our representative will pick you up from Delhi Airport/Railway Station and proceed to Bhimtal by road. On arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure and exploring nearby local spots in Bhimtal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bhimtal.
Bhimtal Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing in Bhimtal. Visit key attractions such as Godhakhel Temple, Bhimeshwara Mahadev Temple, and Nag Karkotaka Maharaj Temple. You may also explore nearby lakes including Sat Tal and Naukuchia Tal. After sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bhimtal.
Bhimtal to Delhi | Departure
After early breakfast, check out and drive back to Delhi. Lunch will be arranged on the way. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to the Railway Station or Airport as per your departure schedule.
